Franz Kafka – An Inexhaustible Author

1924KAFKA2024 – NOW AND THEN: Series of stories in Prague and Berlin

What is it that makes Franz Kafka's work so fascinating?
Is it the often irritating absurdity of his stories or their unbroken topicality?

In a sophisticated and entertaining way, Kafka aficionado Przemek Schreck explores Kafka's magic and ventures a look into the author's workshop.

In doing so, we immerse ourselves in Kafka's inexhaustible worlds. Whether in his diary, in his letters or in his works – this exceptional writer was never casual, never imprecise or unimaginative.

The captivating clarity and purity of his language permeates every last corner of his texts. Przemek Schreck's freely told stories are about this and the perpetual allure of his stories and individual sentences.

In the informal café atmosphere that Kafka loved best, „Die Erzählerei“ invites young and old, connoisseurs and newcomers. Przemek Schreck tells plausible, vivid and lively stories and brings the shy, always friendly smiling Prague man into our present for a few moments.

The event will be held in German with simultaneous translation into Czech.
