Daniel Kehlmann and David Schalko in an interview with Knut Elstermann
The year 2024 will mark the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death, and we suspect that contributions on this topic will add a few more meters of the infamous Kafka to the shelves of world literature. Authors Daniel Kehlmann and David Schalko have also written about Kafka, but this is not a novel, but a screenplay: „Kafka“ is the title of a miniseries, a joint production of ARD, ORF and Superfilm, which will feature Lars Eidinger, Katharina Thalbach, Charly Hübner, Verena Altenberger, Robert Stadlober and Liv Lisa Fries, among others.
Ahead of the first broadcast of the series at the end of March, David Schalko and Daniel Kehlmann will join us on stage to introduce the series of films in an interview with presenter Knut Elstermann.
Broadcast dates: 26th and 27th March, both at 20:15 in the ARD media room.
