„ODRADEK“ BOOK PRIZE FOR THE AUSTRIAN FRANZ KAFKA PRIZE 2024

The Austrian Franz Kafka Prize will be awarded again this year for the first time since 2001. It is now in two parts and consists of the Austrian Franz Kafka Prize for Lifetime Achievement and the „Odradek“ Book Prize for a Kafka-related publication.

The „AUSTRIAN FRANZ KAFKA PRIZE 2024“ goes to Josef Winkler

The laudatory speech for Josef Winkler will be held by Peter Rosei.

The „ODRADEK 2024 - BOOK PRIZE FOR THE AUSTRIAN FRANZ KAFKA PRIZE 2024“ goes to Radka Denemarková

The laudatory speech for Radka Denemarková will be held by Dana Pfeiferová.

The presentation of the Austrian Franz Kafka Prize is organized by the Austrian Franz Kafka Society in cooperation with the City of Klosterneuburg, the prize money is donated by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport (BMKOES) and the Province of Lower Austria.
