Has been awarded the Golden Decoration of Honour for services to the Republic, as well as numerous other prizes, at the Biennale „Lilla Europa 2004“ in Sweden, the Lessedra World Art Print Exhibition in Sofia, the International Graphics Biennale in China, the IV SACHA 2002, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Salon Rijeka, Croatia, the International Mini Print Triennale, Kiev, Ukraine... to name but a few.
In his new group of works „STRIPES“, which are reminiscent of film strips and in their sharpness and blurriness turn the grotesque, the mysterious, the dreamed and the nightmarish into reality, one recognises a strong connection to the stories of Franz Kafka. Kafka's texts are determined by filmic vision; they initially only transfer the possibilities of the new medium to short sequences.
Kafka Stripes was shown at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague in 2023; for this exhibition as part of the KAFKA DAYS Gmünd-České Velenice, he has developed new approaches and created further works.
