Clemens Dirmhirn presents a close reading of Kafkas short prose Community of rogues and points out some main features of his intertextual poetics of ‚re-writing‘. The presentation will be followed by an informal discussion with the moderator and participants. Clemens Dirmhirn studied German philology and African studies in Vienna, Paris and Berlin. His book on Kafka’s short prose and community discourses has recently been published. Currently he is working on the digital edition of Max Brod’s diaries.
The lecture will be held in English without translation.
