The Prague video game studio Charles Games in cooperation with the Goethe Institute is preparing a new interactive treatment of selected works by Franz Kafka called Playing Kafka. A lecture with the developers of the game will introduce the public version of the first part of the game – The Trial.
Playing Kafka is a surreal adventure game in which you will experience the story of the surveyor from Kafka's Castle, the banker from The Trial and explore the writer's complex relationship with his own father. Suspicious lawyers, devious bureaucrats, and untrustworthy friends await you in the midst of a game dream.
