Letter to Franz Kafka's father: „You asked me recently why I maintain that I am afraid of you. As usual, I was unable to think of any answer ...“
In the end, Franz Kafka did find an answer to this question and put down on paper in his letter everything he could not complain about on his father's chest. How can a constant struggle and endeavour for recognition ultimately only end in alienation, in which the other person is no longer tangible, but rather seems to exist as an image of a ghost?
