Program
Franz Kafka died 100 years ago, on June 3, 1924 – his work continues to have an impact to this day. Since his rediscovery in the 1950s, the author's texts do not seem to age and are reread by each subsequent generation. And Kafka is an author who continues to inspire and challenge writers. That's why three writers will be talking about their Kafka on this evening: Marcel Beyer, Sasha Marianna Salzmann and Dana Grigorcea. All three are also represented with contributions in the volume „Kafka gelesen“ (S. Fischer, 2024).
In cooperation with the Museum Strauhof, on the occasion of the exhibition „Kafka - Doors, Death & Texts“.
The event will be broadcast via livestream.
