Program
The anniversary conference, reading and concert to mark the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death will examine his work from a philosophical and literary perspective. Central to this is the question of Kafka's relationship to modernity. Hardly any other writer of the 20th century has been repeatedly recognised as being so contemporary. Does an examination of Kafka still serve to promote understanding between us and our time?
